Tebogo Langerman is Mamelodi sundowns silent assassin. A player that keeps calm and strikes when it matters. Langerman had the South African nation on its feet when he scored a wonderful goal in the CAF champions  league. Mamelodi Sundowns were at home playing against Egyptian giants Zamalek in the first leg final when Langerman scored a stunner out of the box. Below are 10 things we did not know about Langerman.

  1. Langermann is a product of Wits football academy and went up the ranks to play for Wits first team in 2009.
  2. Langermann left Wits in 2009 and went to play for Supersport United where he spent 3 seasons.
  3. It is while at Supersport that Langerman converted from being a left-winger to a left-back.
  4. Out of three teams he has played for in the PSL, Wits is the only team he has low appearances for, the same time that groomed him.
  5. Langerman is among the great left backs for Bafana Bafana and has over 5 caps.
  6. The left-back has continued to clash with Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane and has came out in media that Pitso motivates him to be at the top of his game.
  7. Langerman has won both the CAF champions league, PSL league, MTN 8 and Nedbank Cup with Pitso Mosimane and Mamelodi Sundowns.
  8. In 2015, Langerman signed a three year contract extension with Sundowns till 2018.
  9. The 30 year old has expressed interest in staying with Sundowns as his contract negotiations will soon start with Sundowns.
  10. Langerman loves jersey numbers that are small, at Sundowns he wears jersey number 4, at the national team he wears jersey number 3.
