A lot at stake as Wits, Chiefs clash in potential thriller

Bidvest Wits today host Kaizer Chiefs in a potential thriller slated for the Bidvest stadium today.

Wits have had an impressive season and today’s encounter presents them with an opportunity to close the gap on log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns to three points.

Victory would take Wits to 39 points, three less than Mamelodi Sundowns who play Orlando Pirates in a tricky encounter tomorrow.

In order to close in on Amasandawana, Wits will however have to be at their best against a Kaizer Chiefs side brimming with confidence mainly due to their recent form.

In their last three games the glamour boys have picked up 7 points from a possible 9. Chiefs who are fourth on 32 points will also be seeking to go level on points with Mpumalanga Black Aces who are third with 35 points.
