New Signing Sifiso Hlanti Is Determined to Bring Success to Kaizer Chiefs! The newly signed left back wants to please the Amakhosi fans.

Sifiso Hlanti is insistent that he brings forth his positive mentality. With this, he hopes that it will lead to success for Kaizer Chiefs and their fans.

He is part of 8 new signings confirmed by the club in the transfer window. Hlanti is very aware of the domestic disappointments the club suffered last season.

Kaizer Chiefs finished 8^th in the DSTV Premiership last year. They lost 5-0 on aggregate to Orlando Pirates in the MTN 8 semi-finals.

They also disappointingly lost in the very first round to GladAfrica Championship side Richards Bay in the Nedbank Cup.

Their season highlight is appearing in the final of the CAF Champions League. They lost 3-0 to Pitso Mosimane’s Al Ahly.

“I always have a positive mentality and I hope this season is going to be far better than the previous one for us.” Hlanti told the club media department.  

“I know that the guys didn’t manage to get what they were looking for last season, but they did try to do what they best given the circumstances, which included reaching the Champions League final.  

“I am delighted I am here with the team, and I also want to thank the management, the coaches and the players for welcoming me with warm hands. It’s important to not forget all the supporters who’ve been with the Chiefs through thick and thin.

“We know what it takes to be successful, and we are aware of the expectations that come with being in this team. We also know there are lots of challenges but once you respond with a positive mentality you can achieve a lot.  

“We understand that it is all about our supporters being happy. As players, we need to show hunger and reward them by winning because we know how much they love Chiefs.” He concluded.
