Baxter to hold press conference.

Newly appointed Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter is expected to hold a press conference today where he is set to announce the rest of his technical team and captain.

Baxter’s first game in his second stint as Bafana coach will be against Nigeria on June 10 2017 in an Afcon qualifier. In the preceding weeks coach Baxter made it clear that he will not be needing the services of Owen Da Gama who was subsequently released as such leaving Baxter without an assistant coach.

So far Bafana have roped in the services of veteran goalkeeper coach Alex Heredia ahead of the clash against Nigeria. Heredia has served as goalkeeper coach at several teams, such as Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Meanwhile SAFA communications manager has confirmed that Bafana will will jet out to Nigeria on Wednesday.
