Chipeta confident ahead of Bidvest challenge

Zimbabwe and Chippa United defender Eric Chipeta is positive the Chilli Boys can upset Bidvest Wits in a crunch Absa premiership encounter at the Nelson Mandela Bay stadium this Sunday.

Despite the Clever Boys impressive league record, Chippa United defender Eric Chipeta is remaining positive,’Bidvest Wits is a tough team to play but since we are playing at home I think we can register a positive result’.

Bidvest Wits have been virtually unstoppable, winning 8 drawing 2 and losing just 2 of their 12 league games so far. Wits are on the same number of points as Mamelodi Sundowns with 26 points.

While Bidvest Wits is embroiled in the S.A title chase,  Chippa United is currently in 9th place and hoping to move as far away from the relegation zone as possible. The Chilli Boys currently occupy 9th place with 16 points, 10 points less than Wits who are second with 26 points.
