Chippa United’s Katlego Mashego Goes Back To School! The 35 year old star has now started planning for life after playing football although he says unlike his father he won’t retire.
“My contract with Chippa will come to an end when this season finishes, so studying gives me more options as to what I will do next. I will not retire but I will stop playing. Retiring is when you stop working and go on pension, like my father,” he said in a recent interview.
Mashego has enrolled as a part time student at UNISA studying towards a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree. “My priority is to finish my studies because I do not know what will happen after I have stopped playing,” he said.
