Fortune Makaringe Hangs Out with Former Maritzburg United Teammates! The former club mates recently linked up.

Fortune Makaringe was seen hanging out with some of his former Maritzburg United teammates. This includes Lebohang Maboe and Richard Ofori.

Current teammate Kabelo Dlamini was also pictured with the others. The Buccaneers have signed a fair number of players from The Team of Choice over the years.

The likes of Richard Ofori, Makaringe, Bandile Shandu, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Kwanda Mngonyama, among others, have made the move. Maboe on the other hand joined Mamelodi Sundowns, where he has enjoyed a trophy laden spell at Chloorkop.

This has been a tough campaign for Makaringe, as he has seen his playing time dwindle under Jose Riveiro. Despite this, he has kept a positive outlook on the situation and claimed that the success of the team is more important than personal glory.

“Last season, I was in a similar situation,” he told the press in November 2022.

“I didn’t play as much as I played in the previous two seasons. But it’s something I’ve taken positively.

“I understand that it’s not about me, but it’s about the team. Whenever I can contribute to the success of the team, I always try to step up and do my best.

“I may not be starting the games regularly, but I am still playing. And it’s how one actually takes it.

“I am grateful for coming from outside and making an impact.” He spoke.
