“Football Has Never Been This Interesting”- Says Teko Modise

Teko “The General” Modise has accepted that the 2015/2016 Absa Premier league is competitive as compared to previous seasons. Mamelodi Sundowns has played five games of the current season, and they find themselves sitting on seventh position in the log. Bafana Ba style as they are effectively known has collected only seven points from a possible total of fifteen.

“Look it is interesting to see that all the teams have started the season on a high note. Meaning there is no team that is giving away points easily. This makes the league very competitive. So far we have been trying to get good results but we have to dig deeper.”said Modise on  his official website

“We are seventh and want to improve our standings. On the previous match we got three points from a stubborn Ajax Cape Town team. They were confident after winning the MTN 8 and made it difficult for us to win.

But these types of things encourage us as players because we know we have challenges that we have to overcome. Football has never been this interesting,” Modise concluded.
