Here’s How Much Some Sports Radio Hosts Get Paid Per Show! Ever wondered what some of the biggest names in sports radio broadcasting get paid per show? We got the numbers for you.

A few days ago, SABC confirmed the return of Robert Marawa to Metro FM as well as Radio 2000 as he is set to make history with a simulcast two hour show on both radio stations.

According to Sunday World, Robert Marawa will earn R7000 per show. His monthly salary is reported to be around R154 000 and R1.8 million annually. He signed a three year contract until 2021 which means he will earn at least R5.5-million when his contract ends.

This makes Robert Marawa the second highest paid radio sports host in South Africa after Andile Ncube.

Ncube was hosting an hour long sports show on Radio 2000 and taking home a reported R7500 per show.  He was earning a monthly salary of R165 000 and an annual salary of R1.9-million.
