Parker says he appreciates the work put in by his mother, hence the decision to buy her a house when he was still just 19 years old,”Growing up while watching my mother struggle everyday, she was only earning 550 a week, so what I saw my mum go through really touched me. When I got my first professional contract I decided to buy my mum a house. She’s happy today and it makes me happy” said Parker.

Parker made the remarks on Top Billing, a South African magazine show on SABC 2.
