“Kaizer Chiefs falls into a category where we say, ‘we have to win’. This team has a traditional culture of winning and we also want to be part of the legacy” he said.

“Our winning should not be naked. Our winning should be dressed sensibly, a win that pleases the eye, a win that attracts so that if we had 20 000 fans on the night, if we had to play the next day there should be 20 001- someone must have been attracted. It’s a show and people have to enjoy the show”

“I hardly watch teams that just play football. I watch teams that are artistic and given an opportunity to have players who have the ability to be artistic in their performances, why not then trigger that? Attractive, attacking football is key” he added.
