Mabhuti Khenyeza Still In-Form

Mabhuti Khenyeza, is perhaps one of the greatest strikers to have come out of South Africa. A great player on the field and a player with stamina and can run a long distance. Khenyeza has run in the PSL perhaps more than any other player in the country in terms of teams many teams he played for. He has played for a total of 8 PSL teams and now currently is playing in the NFD for Amazulu. He is a great striker and at times loses his cool which has seen him land on the bad side of teams and getting expelled. These are the 5 moments of the player Khenyeza rose up to fame in the PSL.

  1. Khanyeza’s arrival from Golden Arrows to Chiefs in July 2007 after he had spent five seasons at the KZN based team and scored 43 goals in the 102 official league and cup matches that he had participated in between 2002 and 2007, was according to many commentators bound to happen sooner or later.
  2. Khenyeza moved to Ajax CT in 2008 after he fell out with Kaizer Chiefs coach Mushin Ertugral. He arrive as a free agent and he was one of the top scorer of 2008-2009 season. At the end of the season left the club and signed for Mamelodi Sundowns.
  3. Since his arrival at Mamelodi Sundowns Khenyeza became a regular first team player in the team. He had 10 goals and 9 assists in 57 games.
  4. After leaving Mamelodi Sundowns for free in January 2012 he signed for Supersport United. On total he played 22 games for the club, fifteen of whom as a starter. He scored four goals and provided three assists.
  5. Khenyeza, joined Amazulu at the end of 2015 coming from Mpumalanga Black Aces and he is currently running for Amazulu alongside Siyabonga Nomvethe in the front line for Amazulu.
