Keagan Dolly Wants to Reach Semi-Finals of Nedbank Cup! Amakhosi take on Thwihli Thwahla in the cup tournament.

Kaizer Chiefs visit Royal AM in their Nedbank Cup quarterfinal encounter this evening. Captain Keagan Dolly has prioritised a result over performance in the game.

Everyone associated with the Glamour Boys is serious about putting an end to their 8-year trophy drought. They believe that this is the year they finally won a trophy.

The last time Chiefs played Thwihli Thwahla they ran out 2-0 winners at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

“This is the opportunity for us to play for something,” Dolly told the club media.

“This is a different game to a league game. We have to win no matter how we play.

“What is important for us is to get to the semi-finals.

“Royal AM are a good team, but we did beat them the last time we played against them which gives us confidence for this game. We want to get into the semi-final and, ultimately, lift the cup for our supporters”. He spoke.

Samkelo Zwane has enjoyed a breakthrough season in the first team of Amakhosi. He is also stressing the importance of winning the Nedbank Cup.

“The history of the Club winning trophies is a big motivator,” the youngster spoke.

“Being a Kaizer Chiefs player, in itself, is a motivator to lift trophies and win things for the Club and make a legacy and being remembered as a legend.”
