At the begin of the June, Kaizer Chiefs went on to say that Itumeleng Khune and Mandla Masango will not be part of the club for the next season but as predicted Kaizer Chiefs has been having private talks with both the players behind closed doors. As from today both players are now officially out of contract with Chiefs.
After the 10th of June the club went on to say that both players are more than welcome to come back to the club if they want to. Kaizer Motaung went on to say that they are in talks with both players about them renewing their contracts with the club. It has come to our attention that the club has held private meetings with the players concerning their future with the club.
Mandla Masango will be signing a new deal with the club but as for Khune they have not yet reached an agreement as the players is still linked with a move abroad, his future with Kaizer Chiefs does not look promising. The goal keeper and the club are not able to come up with an agreement but this does not mean that the agreement is off the table. The two parties are still negotiating.
