Out & About With Shirtless Itu Khune’s Summer Wear

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper and former Mzansi number 1 and fan favourite Itumeleng Khune has a knack of stirring controversy off the pitch and he was at it again when he posted images of himself shirtless as well as enjoying his easy but extravagant life.

He posted pics of himself and his other side away from the football pitch on his social media accounts, Twitter and Instagram.

A new curious trend among men in the city is to go walking about without shirts most probably due to extreme weather conditions being experienced this side of the hemisphere characterised by high temperatures.

Truly speaking it is hot and Khune (is hot also) definitely has to be forgiven for taking a cool plunge into the swimming pool in one of the images that he posted though everything he posts nowadays has a habit of inviting the wrath of wagging tongues.

Khune captioned his topless image:

“Don’t tell anyone what you are doing until it’s done. Outside energy has a bad influence on goals. Work hard in silence and let your success be your noise. Every glory has a story. The beginning may not be encouraging but with endurance, perseverance & hard work everything ends well,”

This was probably in reference to how he is fighting hard to come back to full fitness as he has been on the treatment table for quite some time.

Khune has been out of action and with Kaizer Chiefs enjoying a fine run, he might be salivating over missing all the action happening around him especially the fierce rivalry against Orlando Pirates (Part 2 on this weekend for 2nd week running) where he made his name with some top drawer save and world class distribution.

On another image he jokes how captain Willard Katsande had a go at his shorts and true to modern day fashion trends some shorts for summer are indeed repurposed pajamas as daywear but still Khune professes love for his shorts despite the skipper’s discouragement.

There were mixed reactions from fans who were questioning his physique, and ability to come back and go back to the top of his game.

Many fans were having a field day trolling over Itu Khune whilst other came to his defence and professed their belief in the goalminder coming back and delivering again.
