TS Galaxy fired Owen Da Gama as head coach earlier this week. Club chairman has now announced that they have hired Sead Ramovic as their new head coach.

The German former goalkeeper will take charge of his very first coaching role. He has no previous experience as a head coach.

His 15-year goalkeeping career saw him represent the likes of Wolfsburg and Borussia Monchengladbach.

“TS Galaxy Football Club is delighted to announce Sead Ramovic as the new head coach of the Rockets on a three-year deal.” The club announced in a statement this morning.

“The 42-year-old master tactician will take over the coaching reins from the departed Owen Da Gama.

“Ramovic boasts a wealth of international experience having played in top European leagues during his glittering career which spanned over 15 years.

“The former Wolfsburg net-minder put pen to paper on a three-year deal and the club President Tim Sukazi explained the reason behind the appointment of Ramovic.

“Ramovic represented well-established clubs in Germany such as Stuttgarter Kickers, VfL Stuttgart, Borussia M’gladbach, and Kickers Offenbach.

“After making his name in the German Bundesliga, he later moved to Norway where he enjoyed a four-year spell with Tromso Idrettslag.

“While in Norway, Ramovic also plied his trade with the Norwegian powerhouse, Lillestrom, and Stromsgodset.

“Towards the end of his career, he also played in countries like Turkey, Serbia, Denmark, and Ukraine for clubs like Sivasspor, Novi Pazar, Vendsyssel, and Metulurh Zaporizhya respectively.

“Ramovic ended his playing career in 2014 and pursued his coaching career.”

The German is still awaiting his work permit and will not be on the bench this weekend.
