Shabba Celebrates His 10 Anniversary At Chiefs With 50 Goals

Siphiwe Tshabalala, known as Shabba and the man who scored the first 2010 world cup goal against Mexico is celebrating 10 years in the colors of Amakhosi. Shabba arrived at Chiefs in 2007 from Free State Stars. Since arriving at the club, he has been a regular in the line up and one of the veteran players who has played more derbies in the Chiefs camp.

This past weekend Shabba not only is celebrated his 10th anniversary with Chiefs but the left footed player scored his 50th goal in the colors of Amakhosi. He scored the goal in a Nedbank cup clash against NFD side Stellenbosch, Chiefs won the game 3-0 at Athlone stadium. Chiefs now advance to the last 16 of the Nedbank cup.

This is a great achievement for Shabba who has been with Chiefs and has been maturing in his game. The 2010 SAFA footballer of the year still has gas in the tank and is still yet to mesmerize supporters with great long range goals and break his own record. It is no surprise that Shabba is Chiefs captain often when Itumeleng Khune is not playing.
