All The Transfer Deadline Day Activities Here! In what was an eventful transfer deadline day, a lot of money was spent last night. Manchester United, Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint Germain were all involved in transfer activities on deadline day.
Thomas Partey finally signed for Arsenal. The deal is rumoured to be around 45M pounds. The transfer saw midfielder Lucas Torreira join Atletico Madrid from Arsenal. Arsenal had been eyeing Partey all summer long. A lack of transfer funds had slowed down the deal, but it is finally done now.
Manchester United were extremely busy on transfer deadline day. The Red Devils completed the signings of Alex Telles, Edinson Cavani, Facundo Pellistri and Amad Traore. Alex Telles joins from FC Porto for a fee in the region of 15M pounds.
Edinson Cavani joins a free agent after his contract with PSG had expired. The 33 year old will provide stiff competition for Anthony Martial upfront. United also signed youngsters Facundo Pellistri and Amad Traore. Traore will only arrive from Atalanta in January.
