Kermit Erasmus & His Brand New VW Golf GTI! The newly signed Mamelodi Sundowns striker has got new wheels for himself. Erasmus has had to quickly adjust to life in Gauteng after his transfer from Cape Town City.

Kermit Erasmus has had a busy few days. After transferring to Mamelodi Sundowns, he had to report to national duty.

Erasmus and Bafana Bafana had a very disappointing international week. They drew to Namibia before losing to Zambia.

After returning from international camp, Erasmus has had to begin training with Mamelodi Sundowns. He’s already gotten himself a car in his short time in Gauteng.

Erasmus drives the new VW Golf GTI. According to Cars the VW vehicle costs R669 000.

Cars describes the car as: “Power comes from the turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol engine and it delivers 213 kW and 380 Nm.

“Power goes to the front wheels via a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR is capable of a 0 to 100 kph in 5.6 seconds and the South African spec cars will feature a top speed of 264 kph.”

The striker will have started training with all the new players at Chloorkop. They also have a new coaching staff.
