Club-Agent-less George Lebese Desperate To Play Football Again

Former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder George Lebese is a man desperate to strut his stuff again in the Absa Premier Soccer League but as revealed on Thursday Night Live on Marawa TV the man has no agent to help him find a club.

The heart rending bare it all interview that moved many close to tears put social media especially Twitter into overdrive with South African diski fans sharing their own opinions and perceptions of the massive slide into oblivion for one of the brightest football prospects of the Premier League.

Lebese who is keeping fit by training on his own has been without a club since he was released by Sundowns in June and his situation seems hapless and very dire.

The 30-year-old who struggled for game time at Chloorkop has been clubless since departing from Downs at the end of last season and is a free agent, who can join any interested team locally or abroad but as he sadly reveals on the show there are no offers on the table yet.

The left footed dribbling wizard has been putting in the hard work and enlisted the services of personal trainer, Tebogo Mashalane to get into the best shape possible but as long as he has no agent to talk to clubs on his behalf, the return to Premier League Football might continuously hit a snag.

George acknowledged on the TV show that it has been very hard to find a club and get to be playing football again which is such a pitiful situation for the talented and skillful winger who seems to be pressing the wrong notes in his quest to play football again.

Fans took to Twitter to express their sadness and grief at losing out such a talented player whilst consoling and wishing Lebese all the best in his continued club search.

Others vented their frustration at Mamelodi Sundowns Coach Pitso Mosimane for just buying players for the sake of it and killing competition in the league yet those players suffer as they fail to play hence the dearth of talent due to many players forced into obscurity.

Fans also took note of other footballers who have gone into the football wilderness such as ex-Kaizer Chiefs duo Tefu Mashamaite and Mandla Masango.
