Wits hope to reclaim pole position

Bidvest Wits are hoping to reclaim pole position on the ABSA premiership standings when they clash against Polokwane City in what promises to be a grueling battle tomorrow.

Victory would see Wits take a two point lead at the summit, but if Sundowns or Black Aces win the Clever Boys stay at the top would be cut short.

In their last encounter Wits crashed to a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Mpumalanga Black Aces, but the Clever Boys are hoping for a better Friday when they host Mpumalanga Black Aces.

Gavin Hunt will be looking up to Daine Klate and new signing James Keene to deliver as the Clever Boys look to take the title race to the wire. With Mamelodi Sundowns and Mpumalanga Black Aces showing signs of good form, Wits will have to be at their best and collect maximum points against Polokwane City if they are to keep up with the top two sides.
