10 PSL Stars Who Have Been Arrested! It seems the most common crimes most soccer stars commit are related to speeding and cars and sadly assaults on their partners.

These stars have had a run in with the law, for some it was the beginning of the end of their careers and some managed to come back to the top. Check out the list below.

1. Itu Khune

Back in 2014, Khune was caught by Pretoria metro police whilst going on 173km/h in a 120km/h zone on the N1 South, near the John Vorster Avenue off-ramp in his Chiefs-sponsored Nissan Juke.

2. George Lebese

Back in 2015, Lebese was arrested for allegedly assaulting his then girlfriend.

3. Percy Tau

Tau was arrested back in June for speeding his VW White Polo near the N1’s Nyl Plaza tollgate.

4. Happy Jele

Jele was recently arrested for speeding near Sandton at an average speed of 223km/hour in a 120km/h zone. Jele faces charges of reckless driving and is expected to appear in court soon.

5. Brilliant Khuzwayo

In March 2016, Khuzwayo was arrested by Mpumalanga traffic officers after getting caught speeding on the N2. He was later fined R10 000.

6. Katlego Mphela

Mphela was arrested back in 2011 on a charge of drunken driving in Sandton, Johannesburg.

7. Brighton Mhlongo

Back in 2016, Mhlongo was arrested for speeding at 173km/hr in Johannesburg on Good Friday, a  day before his traditional wedding.

8. Thabo Rakhale

Rakhale was arrested on assault charges by his girlfriend but she later dropped the charges. 

9. Steve Lekoelea

Back in 2015, Lekoelea was arrested after being caught with a stolen car.

10. Masibusane Zongo

Zongo was arrested earlier this year on rape charges.
