10 Things You Don’t Know About Edmore Chirambadare
It is not where you come from that defines you but what you are currently doing defines the kind of person you are. Edmore Chirambadare is a Zimbabwean international and currently Kaizer Chiefs striker destined for greatness. These are 10 things you do not know about Chirambadare.
1.The 25 years old used to feature for Zimbabwe Priemer Soccer League side Chicken Inn Football Club prior to joining Chiefs in June 2016.
2.Chirambadare and Mitchell katsvairo were both signed at the same time by Chiefs from Chicken Inn.
3.In July 2015, Chirambadare was linked to South African club Bidvest Wits where he attended trials organised by Alois Bunjira’s Albun Sport Management.
4.Charambadare started his football career at now defunct Division Two club BOC in 2010 before joining another Gweru Division Two side Zim-Alloys.
5.When Zim-Alloys were promoted into the Division One league, Chirambadare was loaned to Division Two side Gweru Pirates. He also worked as a Barman in Kwekwe for six months while playing for Silo United.
6.Confidence is an anthem in the Chirambadare family that has had four footballers breaking into the Zimbabwe Premier League from his late father Peter through to his cousins Stanley, Ernest and Shepherd.
7.Chirambadare has also played for Zimbabwe’s senior men’s team the Zimbabwe Warriors.
8.In 2015 while still with Chicken Inn FC, Chirambadare won the ZIFA Southern Region Soccer League Golden Boot Award.
9.While playing in Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League, Chirambadare won player of the month from March, April and May in 2015.
10. Chirambadare made his debut for Chiefs in a match against Free State Stars in the Telkom Knockout Cup and he scored a goal but Chiefs lost 5-6 on penalties.
