10 Underdog SA Football Players That Deserve A PLace In The Bafana Bafana Squad
We are tired of playing with old players in the national team. It is time that we have youngsters in the Bafana squad. regular faces in the Bafana line up must fight for their place as youngsters are slowly fighting for the jersey. There are silent assassins playing in the PSL and they are in good form and deserve a place in the national team. Here are the ten players that deserve a call to be in the Bafana Bafana camp for the next coming up friendlies and qualifiers this year.
1.It is no secret, Phakamani Mahlambi plays great football and is able to take on defenders and score goals. He is one player needed in the Bafana Bafana squad.
2.Luther Singh, has played his heart out for Amajita despite losing to Zambia. Why is such a great player not in the Bafana Bafana books to challenge some of the regulars that are not fruitful in the Bafana jersey?
3.Thabo Mosadi, from Ajax Cape Town has been on great from troubling defenders and scoring goals for Ajax Cape Town. He is skillful, creative and bangs goals and that is enough to qualify him a place in the squad.
4.Nathan Paulse, has been maturing like great old fine whiskey. He is great in aerial balls and can score both with heading and taking shots! This is the kind of striker we need. He can make runs and pull defenders off and then pass for other players to finish the job.
5.Percy Tau, jersey number 22, the South African Messi, has been a creator and scorer for Sundowns and he is indeed a contender for the player of the season and therefore should have a call from Bafana.
6.Lebogang Manyama, captain my captain, a man who needs no introduction but a man who can be introduced by goal keepers. He creates, skillful and scores goals and has carried City to a cup victory and join league leaders.
7.Aubrey Ngoma, a man who is fast paced and very strong. He is known for long range shots and he indeed deserves a place in the Bafana Bafana line up.
8.Thabo Mnyamane, a man who has the Bucs number each time Supersport plays Pirates. He is a great set piece taker and a man who can overlap to cross balls with great target. He deserves a place in the squad.
9.Tebogo Langerman, a silent assassin who has great accuracy in passing and great accuracy in crosses. We are tired of players who just cross the ball without any target. Langerman is the man to seal the deal when it matters for Bafana.
10. Shu-Aib Walters is a great goal keeper without any doubt. Itumeleng Khune needs to fight for his place and perhaps he should fight for his so called ‘South Africa’s finest’ name. No player should be guaranteed a place in the squad.
