The Cityzens claimed yet another victory as they make a solid start to the new season. Khanyisa Mayo scored the only goal of the match in the second half.

“The team has brought in good quality players. and this good quality player, I always say it’s a process, it’s a process for them to understand the game model, it’s a process for them to understand results like this,” Ntseki told the press after the loss.

“It’s a process for them, whenever they miss chances, do they stay calm – do they stay confident to say the next chance I get I will be able to score – but when you start worrying about losing a game, it means the confidence goes away.

“What is important is for us to build them and for us to have the confidence and belief to say the next game, we go for it – you don’t prepare for a loss in any way, any time you prepare, you prepare to win [games].”

“It’s a bad result, when you look at the plan going into the game, we knew it could have been two wins in a row, we were looking forward to playing well and winning this game.”
