Keagan Dolly Unhappy with Slow Start from Kaizer Chiefs! Amakhosi drew against Usuthu over the weekend.

Kaizer Chiefs drew 1-1 at home to AmaZulu in the MTN 8 on Sunday afternoon. Attacker Keagan Dolly was not pleased with yet another slow start from his team.

Usuthu took the lead through a well taken goal by Gabadinho Mhango. The hosts equalized through Dolly himself who came off the bench to rescue the draw.

This was yet another match which Amakhosi conceded the first goal. They conceded first to Marumo Gallants and SuperSport United in their previous two matches.

“We started the game very slow, and I think after we conceded, we started picking up the tempo.” Dolly said to SuperSport TV.

“And I think we’ve been struggling with that throughout the season. We go down early in the game, then we have to chase the game and that demands more from us.

“And I think with the chances we created; we could’ve scored more goals. But I was just happy that I could get the one you know.

“I mean we have a goal now, and I look forward to playing them again.” He added.

Dolly was asked how much the frustration levels grew because of the resilience of their visitors.

“Yeah, they are a very good team you know. With good ball players you know, they keep the ball.

“But we knew if we take the game to them, we’ll create chances you know. We have good individuals as well, who can take people on and create fouls for us and scoring chances, and I think that really helped us today when we really took the game to them.

“Unfortunately, they went one-man down, that’s when we took the game even more to them.” He concluded.

Amakhosi will now focus on the DSTV Premiership before the second leg of this encounter. Keagan Dolly Unhappy with Slow Start from Kaizer Chiefs!
