3 African Players Make History In The English Premier League 2018/19 Season
3 African Players Make History In The English Premier League 2018/19 Season! Soccer season just ended and Awards season is rolling in as nominees are being announced in several football leagues.
Manchester City walked away as the champions of the Premier League this past weekend. But when it comes to top goal scorers there’s no one Brit or European in the top three. All three top goal scorers of the season are proudly African.
Mohamed Salah from Egypt, Sadio Mane from Ghana and Aubameyang from Gabon all scored 22 goals each for their respective clubs and they will share the Golden Boot award. No season had previously seen more than one player from Africa reach 20 goals.
All three are sharing the golden boot. Incredible.

I love this list so much. Three African players who rightly deserve the Golden Boot award for their magnificent work this season.
