4 Year Anniversary To Cheslin Kolbe’s Poignant Proposal! The 30th of September is a very special day to the Kolbe’s. It marks the anniversary to when South African rugby World Cup winner Cheslin Kolbe proposed to wife Layla Kolbe.
Cheslin Kolbe got down on one knee to propose to his wife minutes after a Vodacom Super Rugby game! According to Layla, so many things could’ve gone wrong that night. The DHL Stormers were losing and needed to regroup to grab the win.
Layla’s parents were in the crowd as well, to witness the special. Layla claims to have been very embarrassed to share a kiss with Cheslin in front of her parents.
The couple has now been living in France for the past few years. They currently have one daughter and Layla is currently expecting her second child.
Their daughter is already close friends with Siyamthanda Kolisi, Siya and Rachel Kolisi’s first born son. The two families are very close to each other. Spending weekends and holidays together.
