Patrick Maswanganyi has left SuperSport United for Orlando Pirates. The club has bid him farewell as he begins a new chapter in his life.

“Former SuperSport United talented midfielder Patrick ‘Tito’ Maswanganyi left Matsatsantsa to join PSL outfit Orlando Pirates,” Matsatsantsa announced, on their website.

“’Tito,’ as he is affectionately called by teammates, played a crucial role after spending a season with Matsatsantsa.

“The Tembisa-born-midfielder spent the 2022-2023 season with Matsatsantsa where they finished third on the DStv Premiership log table and qualified to participate in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) competitions.

“The Matsatsantsa family wishes you all the best ‘Tito.’” The club wrote.

He helped SuperSport United finish third in the DSTV Premiership last season. They will participate in the CAF Confederations Cup.
