Gyan Just Signed With Shanghai SIPG

It has been made official, Asamoah Gyan just got signed by the Chinese outfit Shanghai SIPG and this makes Gyan the highest paid African player in the world. The player signed a two year contract this morning and that he will be earning R4.3 million per week.

Gyan signed his contract in the presence of  his older brother Baffour and Samuel Anim Addo who is Gyan manager. “I thank God for this special day, to my family, former playmates at Al Ain and to my fans” he said. The Chinese club was unable to organise a press conference for Gyan’s official unveiling due to an upcoming away league match. Gyan will now likely to be unveiled on Tuesday next week.
