Khune And Masango Are Still Waiting To Hear From Chiefs
kaizer Chiefs has Itumeleng Khune And Mandla Masango life’s on hold, as the two players wait to meet with the club. Yesterday the meeting between Khune, Masango and Bobby was postponed due to miss-communication. The Bafana Bafana goal keeper and masango were suppose to meet and sit down with Bobby to discuss their future in the club.
The players were ready to re-negotiate with the club but they were told to come back yesterday. Now they have to wait a little bit longer to find out their fate with the club.
“The meeting is not cancelled but postponed” said the Chiefs spokes man. “All the relevant parties should be available later in the week because there was a clash of schedules. “I can’t obviously reveal to the public who exactly could not be available on the day, but the discussions will still go ahead”
Khune and Masango are still hunting for a club, only a week is left before the Premier League campaign kicks off next week.
Meanwhile, it was confirmed yesterday that the new captain of the club is Siphiwe Tshabalala. Tshabalala wore the armband when Chiefs played in the King’s Cup in Swaziland.
