Maritzburg United Decides Not To Sign Abia Nale

Maritzburg United have decided not to sign former Mpumalanga Black Aces midfielder Abia Nale. Nale had been training with the Team of Choice and a possibility to sign the winger was on the cards before coach Mandla Ncikazi was fired last week.

Maritzburg United team manager Quintin Jettoo confirmed the news, saying their priority has since moved to finding a new coach.

“He’s not training with us anymore. The thing is we are now busy and the coach is not here any longer, so it is very difficult to sign the player without the coach,” Jettoo told KickOff.

“We can’t look at that now and we have to focus on a replacement for the coach.

“We are not unhappy with the players we have… we are okay. We want to support them in getting the positive result now.” concluded Jettoo.
