Clive Barker Appointed Maritzburg United Coach
Maritzburg United have appointed Clive Barker as their new head coach for the 2015/16 season. The veteran South African coach has been assigned with helping the Maritzburg outfit to their winning ways after their disappointing start to the 2015/16 campaign.Team Of Choice confirmed on their Twitter account.
The team of choice has been without a head coach since they have fired Mandla Ncikazi, due to their poor performances in their opening four games of the season and Maritzburg United currently find themselves sitting at the bottom of Absa Premiership log with no win after five outings.
Barker has been without a coaching job in the PSL since he was fired of by Mpumalanga Black Aces in March.
Maritzburg will play the away league match at Kanyamazane Stadium on Sunday, they will play against Barkers former employees Mpumalanga Black Aces, and the former Amazulu,Aces and the Bafana Bafana coach is expected to start his duties.
