Transfer activity encouraging for South African Football
South African football appears on the rise in light of recent transfer activity involving local players.
Bongani Zungu this month signed a pre-contract agreement with Portuguese topflight outfit Vitoria de Guimaraes ending months of speculation linking the rising star to various clubs.
The most recent development is that involving Kerit Erasmus who has joined French ligue 1 side Stade Rennais FC on a two and a half year deal. The Orlando Pirates man had attracted interest from Major League Soccer sides but Erasmus has however made the switch to France.
Erasmus will countryman, Anele Ngcongca, who plays for FC Troyes.
