“I always dreamt of being one of the best S.A footballers”, says Modise

Teko Modise says he always dreamt of becoming one of the top footballers in South Africa,”I had a dream as a very young kid that I want to be one of the best in South Africa and I knew in order to achieve that I needed to work harder than anybody else”, said Modise.

Modise says he worked his socks off in order to get to the top, also indicating that he lost a lot of friends on his way to stardom, a scenario he says was necessary in order for him to achieve his goals.

The S.A footballer rose to fame during his days at Orlando Pirates. The midfield general then moved to Mamelodi Sundowns where he made steady progress helping Amasandawana dominate in the domestic premiership.
