Itu Khune Inspiring Hopes & Dreams Through Annual Football Tourney

Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana goalkeeping legend Itumeleng Khune is taking the time on the sidelines all in his stride and refuses to get frustrated as he graced his annual, Khune Legacy Tournament in partnership with his personal sponsors DanUp.

The major aim and thrust of the tournament is to keep children off the streets by offering a platform for them to exhibit and express their football talent.

The tournament is an initiative that Khune launched in order to empower the young talent in his hometown of Ventersdorp by creating a football competition that runs for a few weeks during the school holidays in December.

The tournament started yesterday on the 23rd of December.

Khune is amongst a host of other Absa Premiership stars giving kids opportunities and exposure through football tournaments following on from the likes of Morgan Gould, Willard Katsande and Brilliant Khuzwayo, who are all involved in projects that benefit communities and empower youth to dream of brighter days and focus on the future.
