Langa turns 34
The Brazilian left-back who celebrates his 34th birthday today (6 May 2020) has been a stalwart in the Sundowns’ backline racking up over 200 appearances for the club he joined in July 2012.
“Langa” as he is affectionately known as, has developed into an ever reliable fit down the left hand side for Mosimane through the years.
“We have seen all the left backs, we do our research all the time. Langerman fits perfectly into our game model.” claimed Mosimane.
In his 20 PSL starts last season, Tebogo created 24 chances for teammates from his fullback position. He delivered 78 crosses from open play, averaging to 3.7 per 90 minutes on the pitch. An incredible feat for a left-back as the Brazilians were crowned Champions.
Showcasing one of the best medal collections in the league, Tebogo is the proud recipient of; 5 PSL Titles, 2 Telkom Knockout Cups, 1 CAF Champions League & CAF Super Cup Medal.
Few could argue that Tebogo with over 10 years in the Premier League is still one of the best in the game.
