New Teammates Siphiwe Tshabalala & Xola Mlambo Acquaint Themselves! The former rivals shared an afternoon tea and slice of cake yesterday. Mlambo and Tshabalala are 2 of 11 new signings by AmaZulu.

Siphiwe Tshabalala and Xola Mlambo have shared the pitch many times before. Except, they were always arch-rivals as Tshabalala represented Kaizer Chiefs while Mlambo represented Bidvest Wits and Orlando Pirates.

Now at the same outfit, Shabba and Mlambo have sorted out whatever previous there may have been! The duo will be looking to reach new standards with AmaZulu.

New Usuthu chairman, Sandile Zungu, has promised and set lofty ambitions for the club. He has said that if AmaZulu fail to make top 4 this season it will be a failure.

In addition to this, he is also exclaimed that should the club fail to win the league within the next 4 years it will be a failure as well!

Ayanda Dlamini’s side will however be looking for a stark contrast in fortunes. They have drawn and lost in their opening two fixtures.

The loss to new side TS Galaxy was particularly hurtful. A draw at home to Orlando Pirates is more than worthy.

AmaZulu do not play this weekend as it is the MTN Semi-finals. They will however be back in action next week.

It will take some time for all their new players to gel together. But it is assumed that at some point all their quality will mend better results.
