Promise Mkhuma Wants To Contribute More To Mamelodi Sundowns! The 21-year-old was promoted into the Masandawana first team last year.

Promise Mkhuma is currently enjoying his second season with Mamelodi Sundowns. He is already working hard and hopes to become a big contributor to the club’s success.

“For a youngster like me coming into the team it has been good, I always put hard work first, for me working hard is not a problem, I just need to stay focused and try to contribute to the team.” He tells the club website.

Incredibly, Mkhuma is on the verge of winning his second PSL title in as many seasons as a professional player. He was part of the team that won the treble last season.

Now, having played even more minutes than last season will be a DSTV Premiership winner this season as well.

“I believe that we are doing well as a team. My coaches, all the technical staff and the players have been supporting us youngsters to help us do well.

“They complement us when we do well at training and they motivate us when we play games and I think with their support and our hard work we’re fine as youngsters.” He adds on.

The young man is from Daveyton, an area notorious for producing high quality players. It’s an area also known for having big characters.

Mkhuma is one of these, as he is already known as the lead singer at the club.

“I’ve been singing since I was with the Academy, I think that singing lifts up the team’s spirit. It’s been a great month for me and the team, we’re looking forward to doing well and finishing up our games on a high note.” He concludes.
