Rocnation sports has partnered with DSTV Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns. This deal has been rumoured to be worth a staggering R1 billion.
The name Rocnation has since been in the limelight and many South Africans possibly do not have a great idea of who they are. Here are 5 things you didn’t know about Rocnation Sports!
- Rocnation was founded by musician Shaun Jay-Z Carter in 2013. It is a subdivision of Rocnation as a whole.
- Since forming in 2013, Rocnation has gone on to represent athletes across several sports in the globe.
- Some of the best soccer players represented by Rocnation include Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford and Eric Bailly.
- They also represent South African rugby and cricket stars such as Cheslin Kolbe and Lunga Ngidi.
- Mamelodi Sundowns isn’t the first South African team to partner with Rocnation. Earlier this year, rugby side The Sharks also partnered with Rocnation Sports.
