Kaizer Motaung Junior Happy to Seal Contracts of Seven Youth Players! Amakhosi recently renewed the contracts of a lot of their young players.
Kaizer Motaung Junior, Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director, was thrilled to seal the contracts of Keletso Sifama, Thabo Mokoena, Bruce Bvuma, Reeve Frosler, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, Sabelo Radebe and Happy Mashiane.
Incredibly, six of these seven players are Kaizer Chiefs academy graduates.
“We are happy that we were able to secure these seven players’ services for an extended period,” Kaizer Motaung Junior told the club website.
“We have to ensure that our future is secured, and these are the players that will form an integral part in building a formidable team in years to come. This is in line with our strategy and primary focus of reducing the average age of the squad and building a young dynamic team for the future.
“There are senior players’ contracts that need to be reviewed and we are in the process of evaluating and finalising those deals. We will make further announcements in due course.” He added.
The club did not sign any players in the January transfer window. This is despite very strong links to AmaZulu midfielder Siyethemba Sithebe.
The Bafana Bafana international was said to have agreed terms with AmaZulu to complete transfer, but Usuthu simply refused to sell. Kaizer Motaung Junior Happy to Seal Contracts of Seven Youth Players!
