Kaizer Chiefs Will Be Fresher for Soweto Derby Says Mandla Ncikazi! The Buccaneers host Amakhosi this weekend.

Orlando Pirates will play against Kaizer Chiefs in the DSTV Premiership on Saturday afternoon. Co-coach Mandla Ncikazi believes that the visitors will be better prepared for the encounter.

The Bucs have played every three days since the turn of the new year. This is because of their involvement in the Nedbank Cup, CAF Confederations Cup and DSTV Premiership.

They have a congested fixture list. They played on Saturday in Africa and again yesterday domestically.

The club now has two days to recover and prepare for the derby.

Kaizer Chiefs on the other hand played Baroka FC in the league on Saturday evening. They have had an entire week to recover and prepare for the match.

“The sad part for me is that they played on Saturday, we played on Sunday, against a team from Swaziland.” Ncikazi told SuperSport TV.  

“We’re playing again today. And we’re playing on Saturday.

“We’re playing a well-rested team. It is what it is, we can’t change it.

“We just have to find a way of dealing with what happens on Saturday. It’s not going to be easy.

“It demands a lot, physically from the players. But we have to try to find the right combinations and a team to be ready on Saturday.” He exclaimed.
