Andile Mpisane’s Wife Gets Into The Football World
Andile Mpisane and Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize are no longer strangers in South African football with the mother and son leading Royal AM that took DStv Premiership by storm in their debut season in the last campaign.
Now, with MaMkhize having purchased Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies status to start Royal AM Ladies, she confirmed that Andile’s wife Tamia Mpisane will be the deputy chairlady of the team. MaMkhize believes a lot in the women power and it’s not surprising that she has granted this job opportunity to a woman.
“Welcome our new deputy chairlady @tamia_mpisane. I’m excited to start this ladies football journey with you,” MaMkhize wrote on her Instagram account.

ROYAL AM MAKE MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENTS
Royal AM last week announced the appointment of Daniel “Dan Dance” Malesela as a new club’s co-head coach. The former Marumo Gallants mentor was previously linked with a head coach role at Golden Arrows but Abafana Bes’thende eventually went for the co-head coaching of Mabhuti Khenyeza and Vusi Vilakazi.
The chairlady of Thwihli Thwahla Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize said she changed her mind about having one coach after adding Malesela and another third coach who she didn’t mention their name.
“I’ve changed the structure where we’re not having one coach, we’re having co-coaches. Their former assistant from GladAfrica is co-coach,” Mkhize confirmed at their official press conference on Friday morning.
“We’ll be having three co-coaches. I’ve changed the structure where we’re not having one coach, we’re having Co-coaches. Their former assistant from GladAfrica is Co-coach.
“Rome was never built in one day, these three coaches going to bring different dimensions of football. They’ll agree to disagree to get results. When I interviewed all my coaches that came through, I was very clear. I do not change the style of play.
“We’ve got speed, we’ve got endurance. When you go forward you close your eyes. I want to create an identity, which means I don’t want to change our style.”

NEW SIGNINGS
The club also announced the signings of Lesvin Stoffels, Shane Roberts and Philani Cele. Thwihli Thwahla are still rumoured as the next home for free agents Luvuyo Memela and Happy Jele.
“We brought back Cele cause we believe in stability and continuity because we’re a club that believes in the heart. That’s we brought back Philani. He was fighting for the club and gave us his heart,” owner Shawn Mkhize said on Friday. “We’ve brought back Stoffels and last we have Shane Roberts. He’s gonna be the future of the club.”
WOMEN’S TEAM AND NEW SPONSOR
MaMkhize went on to reveal that they’ll be launching Royal AM Ladies team that will be sponsored by World Sports Betting. “Worlds Sports Betting is going to play a crucial role in Royal AM. When the flood came I responded on my own,” she confirmed at the official press conference.
“WSB are going to partner us with CSI, and support the women’s team. But they won’t be involved in the A team.”
