Eva Nga grew up in Cameroon with his family in their home. He claims that his father’s decision to marry two wives made life a bit difficult.
Many African children grow up in circumstances which are quite colorful. It is historic African tradition for men to marry more than one woman.
The home which the Orlando Pirates striker grew up is a similar home.
“I’m 29 years old, Im from Cameroon, from Yaoundé,” Nga revealed in an interview.
“I come from a difficult family because my father married two wives. It was not easy for us.\
“But we never missed something at home. He always made sure we got everything we wanted.” The striker spoke.
However, his family made it easy for him when it was time for him to choose what he wanted for his life. He opted to ditch school for pursuing a career in football.
“Especially because he didn’t want me to play football. He wanted me to go to school but when I finish my secondary school, in my first year of university I went there and I saw a lot of people sitting down and I said to myself, “my place is not here”, because everyone wanted to be a president, a minister or a governor.
“When I left, I never went back. I went home and I spoke with my mother, and I told her that Im not going back to university anymore. I need to do what I want, like football.” He spoke.
