Manchester United bought Antony for a staggering 100 million pounds from Ajax Amsterdam in the transfer window. His settlement into the area has included a very big purchase for the winger.
Paul Pogba left Manchester United to re-join Italian giants Juventus on a free in the same transfer window. This means that he had to sell his house in England upon moving to Italy.
Many footballers rent their old homes instead of selling them, to maintain property investments in their lives post retirement. However, Pogba has opted to sell he house, as opposed to renting it.
This shows his strong intent to disassociate himself with the club, the area, and the country overall. Fortunately, there was a willing buyer.
Brazilian winger, who has just joined the club, also needed a play to stay. So, what better place than Pogba’s old residence!
“Yeah, there was an old owner. But I’m going to change this. This ‘PP’” Antony says in the video, provided by ESPN.
“It was Paul Pogba’s house.
“There is a ‘P’ from Pogba still here. This is one of the things he made, so I’m going to start to change, right?
“I need to put the ‘AS’ for Antony Santos. He isn’t staying here anymore.
“Yeah… he has a high standard. But I’m happy to be in the house that belonged to a star player.
