TS Galaxy Reportedly Suspending Staff Members to Cut Financial Costs! The Rockets are in monetary meltdown it seems.

Reports suggest that TS Galaxy have begun the process of suspending staff members. This has been done to alleviate the financial blackhole they find themselves in.

News of the financial crisis at the club have been spreading like wildfire. The club has failed to pay some of the playing staff their salaries for January, and those who did get paid only received a portion of their income.

All of this began when The Rockets returned from their trip to Turkey in December, where they played in four friendlies.

“Has he not told you guys this? He was suspended and was almost left homeless and had his phone cut off because he did not pay for its service,” a source revealed to Phakaaathi.

“It is a funny story, really what happened.

“Apparently there was some miscommunication between him and the club’s president [Tim Sukazi] but that was just the start. 

“After the game, he went to get the coach for post-match interviews as per the norm with all PSL clubs. 

“But he found the coach in a conversation with the club president, and he asked him to go for the interview. 

“They ignored him and continued their conversation as if he was not there,” the insider added.

TS Galaxy purchased the PSL status of Highlands Park in 2020. They have enjoyed two decent seasons in the DSTV Premiership, without enduring any administrative challenges.
