Pitso Mosimane and Carlos Queiroz Shortlisted for Zamalek SC Managerial Role
Former Bafana Bafana coaches Pitso Mosimane and Carlos Queiroz have reportedly been named among a five-man shortlist to take over as head coach of Egyptian football giant Zamalek SC.

- Carlos Queiroz – Former Egypt national team coach (2021–2022) who has been without a managerial role since parting ways with Qatar in December 2023.
- Hector Cuper – Experienced Argentine coach, known for his time with Egypt’s national team and leading them to the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
- Vahid Halilhodzic – Former Morocco coach with extensive African football experience.
- Rogerio Micale – Brazilian tactician with a strong youth development background.
Mosimane’s Potential Return to Egypt
Despite being under contract with Esteghlal FC, Mosimane is reportedly under serious consideration for the Zamalek job. His previous success in Egypt, particularly his ability to manage high-pressure environments and deliver trophies, makes him an attractive option for the club.
