Keagan Dolly Finds His Form with Resurgent TS Galaxy

Keagan Dolly seems to be finding his groove on the football pitch once again with the resurgent TS Galaxy. The experienced campaigner delivered a Man of the Match performance in TS Galaxy’s 2-0 victory over Golden Arrows at the Mbombela Stadium on Saturday evening.

In a closely contested clash, Dolly opened his goal-scoring account for Galaxy in the first half, setting the stage for a crucial win. Another former Kaizer Chiefs player, Puso Dithejane, sealed the victory in the second half, ensuring all three points for The Rockets.

Dolly’s moment of brilliance came in the 13th minute when he fired in a stunning left-footed strike from distance, leaving Golden Arrows’ goalkeeper, Ismael Watenga, with no chance. The goal marked a significant milestone for the playmaker, who produced one of his best performances since joining the club.

Reflecting on his performance, Dolly expressed his gratitude to his teammates for their support and belief in him.

“Huge credit goes out to my teammates for pushing me and believing in me. I think without them, this wouldn’t be possible,” he said in his post-match interview with Galaxy’s media team.

The 31-year-old also acknowledged the struggles he faced before signing with TS Galaxy and how the club has provided him with a fresh start.

“I think it’s the freedom I get. I’ve been through hardships in the past few months being without a team, but when I got here, I felt the love from everyone at the club, especially from my teammates. That just gives me the freedom to come out here and be myself.

“Hopefully, I can keep this up and score more goals and help the team be where we need to be,” he added.

Dolly’s resurgence is a promising sign for TS Galaxy, who are pushing for a strong finish in the league. His experience and creativity could be key assets as the club aims for continued success in the ongoing campaign.
