Mamelodi Sundowns’ versatile Brazilian attacker Arthur Sales has started a new chapter off the pitch, recently marrying his long-time partner, Eduarda, in a private ceremony held in Pretoria.

The couple, who share a young daughter, celebrated their union at what appeared to be the Brazilian Embassy in South Africa, surrounded by close friends and family. The occasion marked a personal milestone for the 22-year-old, who has enjoyed a stellar debut season with Masandawana.

Sales quickly adapted to life in South African football, contributing 19 goals and assists across 39 appearances in all competitions. His dynamic presence in the attack has made him a fan favourite at Chloorkop, and his performances helped solidify Sundowns’ dominant run in the league this past season.

Off the field, Sales and his wife, Eduarda, have embraced their new life in Gauteng. The young family has grown close to fellow South American stars within the Sundowns squad, particularly the family of Uruguayan playmaker Gaston Sirino.

Sharing her joy on Instagram, Eduarda posted a heartfelt tribute to her husband alongside a series of wedding photos. “Married at last. I chose you three years ago, and I still choose you every day. I want to share my whole life with you! I love you without explanation, my husband,” she wrote, with her words translated from Portuguese.

The couple’s daughter was a special part of the celebration, with images showing the family of three signing their marriage registration papers. Sundowns teammate Lucas Ribeiro Costa served as one of the witnesses, adding another personal touch to the intimate event.

As Arthur Sales prepares for the upcoming season with Mamelodi Sundowns, his growing family will no doubt provide a strong source of support and inspiration.
