Keagan Dolly Eyes Siwelele Move After Brief TS Galaxy Stint

After just seven months with TS Galaxy, Keagan Dolly is once again on the move. The former Bafana Bafana midfielder, who joined the Mpumalanga-based side in November 2023, has now become a free agent following the club’s decision not to exercise the option to extend his contract by a further year.
Dolly made 20 appearances for Galaxy across all competitions, finding the back of the net three times. While his stint was short-lived, it offered him a platform to stay match-fit and contribute to a side navigating the challenges of top-flight football.
Now, the experienced playmaker is reportedly in talks to join Siwelele FC, the newly formed club that acquired SuperSport United’s Betway Premiership status. Siwelele have already begun pre-season preparations at Megawatt Park in northern Johannesburg, where Dolly has trained in the past.
The move would mark a new chapter in Dolly’s career, which has already included notable spells at Ajax Cape Town, Mamelodi Sundowns, Kaizer Chiefs, and French side Montpellier. At Kaizer Chiefs, he made headlines for being one of the highest earners in the PSL before his release in 2023.
Dolly’s potential switch to Siwelele FC could prove to be a strategic signing for the ambitious new club as they look to establish themselves in the league. With a blend of experience, creativity, and leadership, the 31-year-old could be exactly the profile they need to build early momentum in the 2024/25 season.
Although nothing has been confirmed officially, sources close to the situation suggest that discussions between Dolly’s camp and Siwelele FC are progressing positively.
If the deal is finalized, it would offer the midfielder a fresh start and another opportunity to showcase his talents in the Betway Premiership, while also helping guide a new-look team into their debut campaign with seasoned experience.
